My year in review

I didn't start blogging until a few months ago and feel like we've crammed so much in this year that you guys haven't seen, I thought I'd show you my year in pictures. Just one or two from each event/trip mind or you'd be here forever!!

Go on, grab yourself a cuppa and get comfy, it's a long one (although mostly pics actually). Don't worry I'll guide you through gently.

Ready?

Lets start with some snaps from last New years Eve party shall we. The theme was
'A night at the movies'
JANUARY
My work Christmas party, yes it is in January!
Do we all look a little tipsy?Looks very much like we're holding each other up!
Snowy Day out
FEBRUARY
Quite a large operation on my foot, nice shoe!!!
MARCH
Not much going on here due to recuperation and tackling crutches. Just feeling rather sorry for myself.

APRIL
Cousin Gemma's 30th birthday masquerade ball.
MAY
May Day Fayre, lots of clog dancers and Morris dancers bashing sticks and stomping feet.
JUNE
Local gala 2 day event.
Few trips to the pub thrown in here and there for good measure.
JULY
Not one but two local music festivals, both in glorious sunshine!
Long weekend camping in beautiful Weymouth. The weather always behaves itself for us here, but seriously this trip it was off the scale.
AUGUST
Main event of the year, our two week hols to Southern Spain with so many friends and family we sometimes lost track of them all!
And this is not even all of us!!

Still in August...
Day trip to Skegness on yet another scorcher of a day.
Just gotta have an ice cream don't ya.
From May onwards there's a bit of a theme going on.......can you spot it?

Yep, you're right clever clogs, it's the beautiful blue sky in all the snaps, we were absolutely blessed with soaring temperatures this year weren't we, and for more or less every event. Spent a small fortune on sun tan lotion though but I'm not complaining, can't wait for it to come back, pleeeeeease!

SEPTEMBER
Long weekend in Brixham, Devon.
Not sure who our friend is?
Day out at Rutland water, a local stunning, huge reservoir. Anyone fancy a barbie?
Lots of sausages there Mike
OCTOBER
Supporting our best friend John during his first ever half marathon, raising money and awareness for AMEND.
Very proud of you JJ
My sister also had her 40th birthday in October, no party, boo, just a quiet family celebration, and no pics as she'd probably kill me! Here's just one of my favourite things from the day! What a surprise I hear you say, cheeky!
NOVEMBER
Our local service for Remembrance Day.
Woah.......drum roll...........The one and only Mr Bruno Mars in concert. A M A Z I N G.
Love you Bruno...sorry people.

Weekend in London to celebrate Mr C's birthday and see Les Mis.
DECEMBER
Few romantic days away in Shrewsbury for Mr C and I, and had THE most wonderful time.
Oh and then Christmas hit us like a freight train didn't it, and you'll have seen the evidence from my previous Xmas and New Year posts.

Amongst this little lot we also squeezed in lots of nights out at the pub or being very grown up having meals at our friends homes, and also soooo many nights out at the theatre, which we love.

And that's all folks. Right up to date. Phew, I am actually worn out just putting this lot together, what a busy year!

Thankyou for taking the time in joining me on this little journey through this priceless life of mine and what a ride it's been hey? It's real nice for me to see it all here and it's made me giggle lots along the way.

All I can say is that I have a sneaky suspicion that 2014 is going to be even better.

Bring it on baby!
