Making it merry and bright

We'd had a busy few days of birthday celebrations, shopping and visiting friends (see last post) and Sunday was putting the tree(s) up day. Hooray!!!!! It's true to say I am Mrs Christmas. I love it and get so excited, I'm like a big kid, and so is Mr C. I really look forward to my tree putting up day.

For my last post of 2014 I thought I'd show you a sneaky peak of the festive decorations. I love modern, no traditional for me, no tinsel or multi coloured this and that!

The main tree in the lounge with green accessories to blend in with the decor. Everything has to match. I love this tree. We always used to have a real one when the kids were smaller but then we spotted this one in a bargain store for a great price and had to have it. It actually looks like a real tree and everyone comments on it. It's huge as well and takes up the whole corner of the lounge. If you're going to have a tree, make it a bloody big one!

We have a smaller black tree (ultra modern) in the kitchen/diner with is adorned with some fabulous crystal decorations.
Yes the antlers are on my head. I get a tad carried away on tree putting up day, drinks, music, nibbles, antlers and silly dancing. If you're gonna do it, DO IT!!!!
One of my Christmas corners.
And another!

It just leaves me to say the biggest thank you to all of you out there, wherever you are in the world that take the time to read my blog and leave lovely comments, it means a lot to me, it really does.

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas, I hope Santa brings you everything you wish for.

Lots of love From Me, Mr C and Emily

    1. Hi Lynne. Hope you had a Merry Christmas. I love the modern decorations but think I could so easily be swayed to the traditional look, as everything is so beautiful! Take care xx
