I love Autumn. It brings with it a familiar feeling every year. Dappled sunlight, golden leaves scattered everywhere, long country walks and sitting by the fire with a mug of hot chocolate getting your fingers and toes all toasty! With the traditions of Halloween and Bonfire night we always know what we have to look forward to don't we and it makes me feel warm and cosy inside. I love the fashion side of Autumn too, boots, chunky knits, layering, winter coats and scarves. By scarf I mean a Burberry scarf! Did I mention I picked one up at London Fashion weekend? Yep, the one I'm modelling in this here fashion shoot! It was it's first outing so I thought I'd show you lot what I wore it with.
The camel coat I picked up from New Look in Feb this year as it was in the sale and it's really good quality, quite heavy and warm. They don't have the same one now but if you want a reasonably priced one you'll find similar here and when you order on line and sign up to their newsletter you get 30% off your first purchase! What ya waiting for?
My handbag is from M&S, again picked up earlier in the year but you'll find similar here. I love the faux snakeskin designs and gold detailing on both and they're roomy enough to fit in all your everyday essentials. I think I actually like the current one more as it's got the gold chain strap.
A Burberry scarf has been on my wish list for a little while and I'm chuffed I got one when I was in London. This one is 100% cashmere and is softer than soft. I'm so scared I'll drop something down it though :(
The cold shoulder trend has rolled over from Summer into Autumn/Winter and I love this cold shoulder knit from Topshop. Bang on trend and real comfy.
Rose gold earrings are from Primark and the boots are last years from M&S in the sale.
I must admit I love the brown and nude palettes that are always here year after year. You can't really go wrong can you? You can throw in your velvet and pops of colour but I'm not a fan of brights, so for now I'll stick to my neutrals.
