I've joined the Makeup Revolution || Iconic Elements

Hi everyone. Hope your week is going well so far. The weather has been much better this week so I'm happy!
I thought I'd show you my latest purchase from Makeup Revolution. I know they've been around for a while now, although still relatively new in the grand scheme of things and there's still a lot of buzz about this drugstore brand. I'm not a big wearer of eyeshadow on a daily basis to be honest with you, quite frankly I can't be bothered, and not necessary for our admin office, but I will wear it occasionally if I'm going out for the night. I don't do shimmer or sparkle, certainly with being that bit older, so I went for nice matte shades and got myself the Iconic Elements palette.

I love natural, barely there shades at the moment, nothing garish and in your face so these colours are just perfect for me. There are twelve shades in the palette ranging from the light base/highlighter colours to the dark dramatic shades for that smoky eye. The value for money is this little palette is amazing, you get so much for your £4.00!!

I tried this the first time on my day off work, I popped it on in the morning and it stayed put all day and well into the evening. I was really impressed with the quality and especially the staying power. I do find with some that they crease all too easily on my lids, I actually think that's why I sometimes just don't bother at all but I genuinely loved this one.  The eyeshadow is highly pigmented and goes on beautifully.

Also comes with a double ended applicator for those on the go moments.

I'm very impressed with the eyeshadows and will try some of the other shades for sure, and I'm excited to try some of the other products, the blush lacquer I definitely want to try. If you don't want to splash out on the higher end palettes then give one of these a go, you've got nothing to loose. I picked mine up from my local Superdrug store or you can buy online here

Do you wear a lot of eyeshadow? What's your favourite brand?
