Hey! I said I'd show you this H&M lace blouse in more detail, so here it is with exciting news too! I wore it for Emily's 21st birthday celebrations the other night so you may have seen it on my Insta stories. Emily just wanted to go out for a meal with the family on her actual birthday, the Thursday night, as her lovely boyfriend had planned a surprise weekend away. Sounds easy to organise you might think, hell no, we have a rather large family, 43 of us to be exact [and that's not all of us] went out for a bite to eat. Thing is there aren't many places that can accommodate that many people all together; most can take around 20 at best! Anyway, we came up trumps with a local [and stunning] hotel, Rothley Court, who booked us into their private dining area. They dressed the room and tables beautifully for us and the staff were so attentive. Emily was so, so happy and had the best night with all the people she loves the most.
By the way, because of the bloody annoying snow again this weekend [that we've all totally had enough of] I couldn't get outside to shoot some pics, so had to resort to using my lounge once more. SPRING WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU? I'm being all shouty right now in the hope that spring gets the message that we're eagerly awaiting its arrival! We're ready with our cameras to snap pretty flowers and ALL the cherry blossom. Anyway, I think the photos turned out okay. One minute it was dark, next bright sunshine so I made the most of it with my tripod and timer and had fun playing with the light and shadows.
Let's get to the exiting news bit. No big blog story if that's what you were expecting, sorry, but.......THIS BLOUSE IS NOW IN THE SALE.
I paid £34.99 which is quite pricey for H&M I think. I went to search for the link to insert in the post and was surprised and gutted, it's now LESS THAN HALF PRICE! Just my luck, but fantastic for you lot!
I know I've been harping on about spring, and yep, black is not your typical spring shade but I love it and you can mix it in with some lighter spring palettes from your wardrobe, no problem. Just look at how pretty it is, those sleeves though! I love that the sleeves are slightly longer on me and fall down my hands. The cuffs and the stand up collar are what make it don't you think?
I opted to wear a camisole style top with thin spaghetti straps underneath, which is the best way. I certainly wouldn't wear it with just a black bra, not at my age!!!! Again, I think this is another top you can style up or down, it looks equally lovely with denim jeans and flats. For Thursday night I wore it with my faithful Topshop jeans that I live in, as you can see from my last post!! I do have other stuff for my bottom half you know, just living in jeans till spring shows her face.
Enough babbling on, you need to go check out that lace blouse before they sell out. I think most sizes are still available but they'll go quick!!!!
Don't dilly dally. Go. Go. Go.
You're welcome.
