Grey check blazer - The must have item this season

Everyone has the check blazer, or so it seems. And now, so do I!

I was in two minds as to whether to get one or not but was in town with Emily on Saturday and knew that New Look had one I liked. I tried it on and of course it fitted like a glove. I really did struggle with whether to buy it or not though because I've spent quite a bit this month, not just on clothes but homeware bits and pieces too as we're redecorating the lounge.

I debated quite a bit but then caved as Emily said, "It's only £30 mum and you want it, and they've got your size!".

Oh okay then.

There are so many stores selling their version of this blazer, I even looked at the Primark one but wasn't to sure on the ruched sleeves. I've got a few plain blazers but this is my first patterned one and I love the Prince of Wales check.

It's easy to style too. Great to wear with jeans and a tee to keep it casual or pair with trousers or even a dress for something a little more formal.

I'm a jeans girl through and through so that's why I'll be mostly wearing it with.
