I'm a little bit in love with the Prince of Wales check pieces if you hadn't already noticed. I bought this dress before I got my POW blazer actually and it's so comfy to wear.
We were out and about in the village next to ours the other day. They've got a few cute little homeware/gift shops so we popped along for a browse and to grab a coffee. Don't you just love those kinda days where there's no pressure and you're not rushing here, there and everywhere!
I love a shift dress and as I say this is comfy to wear and stylish, although it's not one I'd wear for the evening, it's definitely a day dress, one that you can pop on without having to think about it too much. Pair of tights and boots and you're on your way.
It looks great without the tights too and just the ankle boots, although there's no way I'd subject you to my pasty legs, I'm certain you'd see them from space!!!!
As you can see it has a round neck, long sleeves, and a ruffled hem. It has a long zip fastening at the back. You'll find details on the Zara website here.
For the price point it's good quality, the fabric is quite heavy and substantial. A super piece to wear to the office as well. I think you could get away with a statement necklace too on this dress, although I'm not a necklace fan so prefer to keep it simple. Simple, yet still classy.
I've paired it with my black biker jacket and quilted handbag, also from Zara. My boots are the Heidi Klum ones that she did in collaboration with Lidl a few weeks back and I love them. Super comfy and I'm wearing them to death!
Simple dresses with tights and boots are my go to for Autumn/Winter and I know this one will get lots of wear.
