Nailing it this springtime

Spring is well and truly here, oooh and so are the lighter nights as of this weekend (yippee) so I thought I'd show you a few of the recent additions to my nail colour collection.

Pink (in any shade) is always my go to colour but with Easter being next weekend I picked up pastel spring shades to mix it up a little. I'm a total fan of any quick dry nail polish, although sometimes its a bit streaky. I'm always in so much of a rush these days and just can't bear the wait, I do use the hold under cold water trick, which is brilliant and works, but think I need to invest in another quick dry spray!

I've used Rimmel loads and love them, they're reasonably priced, good quality but I'd never tried Barry M nail colours before.  I love this shade of pink. Again this was another quick dry one, and it's good. It does last a good few days, which is good going for my nails. As for the yellow shade, woah, a little brighter than I thought it would be, but I like it all the same, something different I suppose.

Rimmel Pillow Talk // Rimmel Daisy Days // Barry M Kiss Me Quick

The two Rimmel polishes I picked up from Boots at just £2.99 each and the Barry M from Superdrug for £3.99, total bargains to step into Springtime!!

Do you like the springs shades? Are they a colour you'd wear?

  3. The Barry M Pink shade looks really pretty, I've been tempted to buy a couple of the speedy nail paint colours but have read mixed reviews about whether it's good or not (like you mentioned about it going streaky). I'll probably have to stick to the regular drying nail polishes!
Btw your rings are really nice as well!

    1. I think the pink is still a clear favourite for me and yes I think the regular polish rather than the quick dry gives a better finish. Thanks for stopping by. xx
